Detailed description of activities, coherent with the proposed objectives

The project is structured on 4 stages, each one totalizing a series of activities in concordance with the objectives mentioned above. The way, the activities are linked, is adequate to the proposed purpose, starting with a study on the potential applications of the nanowires and with their production and characterization, continuing with modeling and ending with the design and the building of the microtransducers. The distribution of tasks on the partners has been done in concordance with the knowledge and the experience of every partner.

Stage I Documentary study on the potential applications of the magnetic nanowires. The production and the characterization of the nanowires from the transport phenomena point of view.

Stage II Study, analysis and experimental modeling of the effects that occur inside nanowires in external magnetic fields. Nanowire modeling from electric point of view

Stage III Design, simulation and implementation of nanowires based measuring devices for electric, magnetic or mechanic quantities, based on the effects that emerge in the magnetic nanowires.

Stage IV Checking, testing and performance appreciation of the microtransducers realized. Results dissemination.
