Adaptive filtering is a powerful technique for reducing the disturbances from signals delivered by noisy sensors . Noise and fluctuation in general, are enhanced when the system size is reduced. Adaptive noise cancellation is presented in two forms: electronic noise cancellation (ENC) and active noise cancellation (ANC). In the area of signal detection, an adaptive noise canceller relies on noise cancelling by subtracting noise from a received signal, an operation controlled in an adaptive manner for the purpose of improving the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
