In this paper a digital filter implementation is presented. Matlab software is used to design the filter and to obtain the coefficients. The next step is to design the filter algorithm using a graphic interface. Following steps are synthesis, fitting and timing analysis. Last step is programming the device. Implementation of such circuits is essential to price reductions, high speed operation and low-power consumption. A short design time with high level of performance is obtained. It is also possible to change the filters characteristics by changing the digital coefficients.
